Blow Review

The film "Blow" could easily in my eyes be named one of the best films ever made. The stars of this film include Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz, who both do a great job at thier parts. The movie is set during the 1980's. George who grew up in a broken home with very little money, and his mother moving in and out constantly decided that he would never have a life as his parents did. Although he loved his father very much he was looking for much more. But much more trouble was what he got. His idea of the perfect job was drug dealing, and he was the best there ever was. During the 1980's 80% of the cocaine on the market came from George, making him one of the richest men of his time. Along with the money and the girls, there was also jail. His father knew what was up, and what George was doing, but decided to ingore it. As the movie progresses you can see the sadness in his fathers actions. George in the end was finally set up, and was put in jail for life where he would never see his daughter again. This movie really shows the true effect of illegal actions, and how it can ruin your life and others around you.

My Bloody Valentine-Horrible

The film "My Bloody Valentine" was a very scary but poorly directed/filmed movie. I viewed it in 3D which was very intense yet unsatisfying. I wouldnt recomd this movie for anyone to see, its a was of $10. The mindset that you have going into this film is that it will be action packed and leave you on the edge of your seat, not so much. Patrick Lussier was the director and editor of the film, and did a horrible job at it. The acting by Jensen Ackles and Jaime King makes you as a viewer want to get up, leave, and get your money back. It was very comparible to a film that a 3rd grader could have put together. The film is based on the 1981 Canadian slasher film, also receiving bad reviews. If you know what is right for you dont even consider seeing it.
